Participation in Stop and Shop’s Refer-a-Friend Program may require users to submit personal information about themselves and their friends, such as name and e-mail address. By participating in Stop and Shop’s Refer-a-Friend Program, users agree to receive communications from The Stop & Shop Supermarket LLC, and/or from our partners that operate and maintain the Referral Program, with regards to participation in the Referral Program. The following guidelines shall apply to a user’s participation in any Referral Program:
1. Referred customer cannot be a member of your household.
2. Referral credit subject to first time customer verification and other applicable terms and conditions. Rewards are earned for every new customer you refer to Stop and Shop who places their first order between 8/1/2023 and 7/31/2024. Referral process needs to originate from Refer a Friend links on Stop and Shop's website or emails.
3. This offer’s promotional code cannot be combined with any other offer. Limit one offer per order. Discount only valid for local Pick-up or Delivery of Stop and Shop groceries. Minimum Pick-up or Delivery order must be $100 (excludes alcoholic beverages, gift cards, postage stamps and any other purchases prohibited by law). Standard pick-up and delivery fees apply. We will email you an one-time use code. Enter code at first order checkout. Not valid with any other offer. Code expires on 8/31/2024.
4. Only one (1) new Stop and Shop account per household will count towards earning a reward. If multiple referrals originate from the same household based off of originating IP address and/or credit card billing or shipping address submitted by the referred users, they will be counted as a single referral credit towards earning a reward.
5. Users may not participate in a referral program where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law or regulations.
6. A user’s eligibility to earn a reward will be based on the ability to make referrals that result in new Stop and Shop customers. Referrals to existing Stop and Shop customers will not count towards eligibility to earn a reward.
7. Credit for referrals can only be given out for those referrals who participate using their unique referral link.
8. Users may not use spam to obtain referrals. Users may not acquire referrals through unsolicited e-mail to persons unknown to them, or through usenet or message board postings, where the postings are unrelated to the topic of discussion or otherwise violate the terms of the site.
9. A “Qualified Referral” is defined as the first StopandShop.com order delivered to a person (a "Referred Customer") who has not previously purchased from the Site and who arrives at the Site via another person's Refer-a-Friend Program link ("Personal Link").
10. Only one Qualified Referral can be earned for each Referred Customer. Any additional or subsequent purchases made by a Referred Customer at the Site will not be Qualified Referrals.
We reserve the right to cancel, modify or amend at any time the Refer-a-Friend program, these guidelines and the methods through which rewards are earned. We reserve the right to disqualify a user at any time from participation in a Referral Program if they do not comply with any of these guidelines.
